Having started my own Internet marketing venture back in the summer of 2003, I tried several different methods to get my business up and running, some were quite fruitful but others I found to be a complete waste of time and effort, not to mention the ongoing expenses which had a tendency to add up to a very sizable sun very quickly.

After a year or two of investing in various ventures, I came to the conclusion that the only proper way to run an online business was to have a bedrock system of my own in place first, that I could then simply “Plug-In” to it whatever I saw fit rather than jumping from one offer to the next hoping the person who owned the “Program” I had joined each time would look after me.

And that Bed-Rock system was to have my own website that I had complete control over, where I had registered my own domain name and obtained my own website hosting account, with that in place I was able to build my own website where I called all the shots, from there I was able to add in those “Programs” and with all the things didn’t work out, I simply pulled the plug on them and plugged in new ones.

Obviously at that starting point I had no idea how to build a website, I’d never heard of HTML or PHP, plus all of the software tools like website editing programs cost a fortune, so this meant having to pay someone to build it for me, but once I eventually found out how to build websites myself everything became so much easier.

After a while and remembering how hard it was for me starting out, I came up with the Plug in Marketing concept which lead me to create this group of sites, they are aimed at people new to Internet marketing to help them build their own solid online business foundation, although I do try to include info for the more seasoned marketers as well, the main focus of the group of sites is to help people just get started in Internet marketing.

So I do hope you find what you need here to get your online business off the ground and my info also helps to keep your business in profit.
