This review is a follow-up to my post of the other day for Profit Jackpot where I mentioned that the video presentation was refreshingly different to most of the others you see nowadays in that the creator (Anik Singal) actually shows exactly what his software can do rather than just elude to how good it is supposed to be like many promo’s for other software tools that usually turn out to be not worth a light.
Well, I have had a chance to get a better “look under the hood” since my initial purchase of this $47 software product and do have to say it does appear to be pretty impressive, however the video presentation shows the “Deluxe” version of the software in action rather than the basic $47 version.
The video presentation shows Anik building ten sites in ten minutes (which actually does go into a little over thirteen but understandable because of the extra time he takes in explaining what it is he’s doing) and once the ten sites are completed, he shows them one by one as they start to self-populate with articles collected from around the web together with YouTube videos all done automatically by his Profit Jackpot software.
He then mentions how comparable softwares are being sold day in and day out on the net for $2-3k or more which admittedly isn’t an over-exaggeration, then comes the usual pricing decrease until stating the $47 price tag for the “Basic” version, then after purchase, an offer is made for the “Deluxe” add-ons upgrade that come out at a further $297, then with a further offer made of a full “Done For You” service additional option which comes out at $810.
So, an initial $47 product can turn into one costing a maximum of (deep breath) $1414.97!!!
Admittedly still cheaper than most of the competition who supply products that usually can’t do half of what Profit Jackpot is capable of let alone having the 25 sites built for you then fully optimized and publicized, but that price tag for the full software together with hands free set-up and initial promotion is likely to be way beyond the financial scope of someone just starting out.
So what do you get for $47, well quite a bit actually, firstly is the core software called Article Jackpot which is supplied with a 25 site license to cover the Project 25 strategy covered in the promo video,
Article Jackpot is a WordPress plug-in that once activated will search the web for content related to your chosen niche topic which it automatically posts to your site at intervals of your choosing, there’s also an additional collection of free plug-ins for adding SEO, Sitemaps, monetization and more to your WordPress site.
The full Done For You service is limited to the number of people that Anik’s team can accommodate so for all the rest also included are a fair number of training videos on how to set-up the system which does cover all of the info needed for the D-I-Yers, then there are weekly webinars (two so far) covering additional training , other aspects of promotion and a live answers session of customer questions,
These webinars are then recorded and can be viewed anytime from inside the members area, (which are available to all customers and I think these alone are easily worth the initial $47 investment)
From there, additional costs include website hosting and domain names, Anik does mention the best way to implement this system is to register a domain name for each one of the 25 sites so at ten bucks a pop that is going to be an additional $250 and on top of that there’s the hosting bill which he’s managed to do a deal with a hosting company to get that down to $10.97 per month so that would put your initial investment up to $307.97
However, that can be drastically reduced by just registering the one domain name and putting the 25 sites up as sub-domains which will then slice that bill down to $67.97 being $47 for Article Jackpot then $10 for a domain name and then $10.97 for the first month of hosting,
My heart sank when I discovered that other customers found poor results when using my beloved HostGator, it turns out that the companies that are supplying the content have blacklisted them for some non-disclosed reason, prompting Anik to scour the web for a solution resulting in the deal he managed to get set-up for his customers.
One question posed on the latest webinar was “Can an old domain be used for this?” the response was a resounding Yes! (not explained but I do know that the search engines give far more weight to a domain that has been around for awhile)
So is the basic package worth the $47 ? – I would have to say yes purely because the training info alone in my view is better than training products costing twice as much or more, the free plug-ins included with this package are worth their weight in gold and a few of them I hadn’t heard about before so definitely a time saving from having to track those down myself and Article Jackpot itself looks to be an exceptional piece of kit in comparison to the competition, alone sometimes at twice the price.
As for the $297 upgrade, well that does includes a fair amount of extras, firstly is an unlimited site license so you can carry on creating as many extra sites as you like past the initial Project 25 strategy, the next item is the Video Jackpot plug-in which pulls in related YouTube videos, adding video content to your posts is likely to get your site ranked much higher in the search engines due to video being the “In Thing” these days
Although the promo video mentions that duplicate content isn’t the issue that most say it is, there is also a content spinner plug-in included in the upgrade (I’ll let you draw you own conclusions there) and lastly is a custom theme which will make your sites look good and it has several niche headers included.
Moving onto the $810 Done For You option, well this option isn’t available to every customer due to the volume that Anik’s team are able to accommodate which is usually 25-35 at a time, but once those initial customers have their sites set-up for them, his team are then available to move onto the next batch so it looks like it could be on ongoing offer, it is a lot of money but if you want all of the initial set-up work done for you without you having to lift a finger then it is value for money.
After all Anik and his team are the experts at this so you will be guaranteed to have your site set-up the right way from day one as they will be using all of their expert knowledge on site design, SEO tactics etc to give you the very best start available.
But I do have to say “where’s the fun in that” yes sure it will take the load off, but you’re not going to be learning any of the nuts and bolts stuff along way and in my view the doing is half the pleasure of the end achievement, although I suppose if you can afford that option then you would have already gone for the $297 upgrade so your pleasure will come from the personal achievements gained from all of the additional sites that you later create.
In conclusion I consider this offer to be very good value for the money, people on a tight who just opt for the Basic package will get more than their monies worth out of the training alone so the core software will the icing on the cake, those who can afford the Deluxe package will get a real top-end piece of kit and with it be able to build an unlimited number of websites having all of the bells and whistles that all the top professionals are using.
The Done For You option for all of those who are lucky enough to have a budget that’ll stretch to it is also very good value compared to what it costs to have these services done elsewhere so all in all an excellent software offering with options to cover most every budget.
The only thing I would say against it would be that the Deluxe upgrade is quite a jump from the Basic package, so perhaps a more affordable split would have been nice, the ideal for me would have been if the four add-ons were available individually that way cushioning the blow for those on a tight budget as they would then be able to get that bit better site without having to find the full three hundred extra bucks straight off.
